ABOUT KAT SANTAMARIA

I am a clinical psychology doctoral student interested in the intersection between physical and mental health in children and families. My interests include increasing accessibility to healthcare, improving patient-clinician interactions, and reducing health disparities. My pre-doctoral research investigated the client/clinician working alliance and the efficacy of digital behavioral treatments for people with migraine. My dissertation explores enhancing migraine care provider self-efficacy in facilitating behavior change conversations with patients.
