ABOUT KAT KOHLER

I’m a neuromuscular sports massage therapist with a background in personal training and posture alignment therapy. I’ve had my own practice for about 2 years and love to brainstorm with fitness nerds that love to biohack. I view the body from structural and electrical lenses to o figure out and address the why behind pain, movement issues and even headaches. I fenced Div 1 and have completed several triathlons and adventure races and currently do Kung fu and Tai chi. I hold a NASM Cpt however now I focus on soft tissue work and body alignment but use the cert to help with providing homework and proper training form. I offer deep tissue massage as well as clothed bodywork sessions where we use Active Release Technique ART, MAT Muscle Activation Technique, Precision Neuromuscular Therapy trigger point work, Egoscue posture alignment and FRC Functional Range Conditioning to get the person moving without pain and balanced to prevent compensations from creating more pain. I also just completed Craneosacral level one and am very excited with how this helps to reboot the whole system and enhance the effects of the other techniques.
