ABOUT KAT DRAPER
I\'ve worked within the Highways Engineering sector, pre and post-graduation, for the past 20 years. For the past five years, I have predominantly had a management and co-ordination role; with roles ranging from Team Leader, Project Manager and Design Manager. The highway projects range from feasibility studies, preliminary design and detailed design, with recent schemes involving extensive collaboration with Contractor, Client and various third-parties. I am an active member of the Women\'s Engineering Society and I am a WES Champion for Mott MacDonald. I have a passion to challenge others and promote diversity, equality and inclusion.As a Chartered Engineer, I am keen to support others with their career development and am a STEM Ambassador. I have completed the APM Project Fundamentals Qualification, the IOSH Managing Safely course and completed the Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt training. I have worked abroad in Abu Dhabi and carried out designs for schemes from the UK for projects in Ireland and Guyana.
