I have a deep understanding of the policy framing payments, and recognition that the rules governing payments determines the range of value propositions that can be brought to market. My drive to grasp both the regulatory and commercial payment landscapes extends to generous knowledge sharing and support of my fellow ecosystem participants. My most recent whitepaper on consent and authentication in payments and open banking is a significant contributed to the FCA changing their approach to 90-day reauthentication. I am counted on to contribute and participate in policy positioning through regulatory fora including active participation in Expert Advisory Groups stood up by the UK Open Banking Implementation Entity Trustee in subjects ranging from customer-side protections, to consent management dashboards, to Variable Recurring Payments and Sweeping Payments standards and consultations. I showcase leadership, domain expertise, and thoughtfulness in these fora; I am well respected, and my opinions and insight are sought, especially as a former regulator helping a leading fintech navigate the thorny payment regulatory landscape.This year, I am advocating to protect the future success of open banking payments.
