ABOUT SOUKAINA KASMI
I was first introduced to technology through my passion for cars. At first, I was amazed by the designs, I loved the curves, the sleek, the precision, I loved how the selection of materials and shapes makes the uniqueness of every single car, and then! I started focusing more on the technologies, which of course made the choice of the field of my studies simpler. Now that I know a little more about embedded systems, I carried my passion to the next level. Now it’s not just about cars, it’s about creating a mechanism, a control system, building legs and arms to an object, so it can move and operate, and through the use of artificial intelligence, we upgrade its brain, making it smart and multifunctional. It is more like breathing life into that object, and by running the right algorithms we can even make it dream. How amazing is that!I have worked on applications and projects built on several embedded platforms like FPGA, DSP, Raspberry pi, ARM7, Pic16F, using some programming languages such as C/C++, Embedded C/C++, python, and Java, and hardware description languages like VHDL and VHDL-AMS. Real-Time Operating Systems, Embedded Linux, and more depending on the specifications needed for the project or application.Throughout the past few years, I have learned so much about technologies, embedded systems, and artificial intelligence, yet I have a lot more to learn and skills to develop. I have just started my journey in this field, and I’m already curious how am I contributing in its next revolution.
