About Kasim Dawood
I am an undergraduate Student at Rice University, majoring in an as-yet-undecided Engineering field - regardless of which field I major in, I am deeply interested in every form of engineering and physics, and am looking for internships to cultivate and expand my passion for these fields. Currently I am performing research under Professor Edison Liang, using ImageJ to analyze images from SAS, FSS, and MS spectrometers, with the help of a program written in MicroSoft Excel. I am also on the Rice Rocket and Robotics Teams. In high school, I led the school robotics team as the Vice President, Design Lead, and Programming Lead, ensuring our robot made it to the state competition whilst also teaching new members of the team all the technical skills involved in the competition.
