I am an aquaculture professional currently pursuing my Master’s at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, with a solid foundation in animal science from my undergraduate studies. My academic background has equipped me with a strong understanding of both animal health and aquatic systems, allowing me to approach fish health management with a comprehensive perspective. My current research focuses on stress memory as a potential strategy to mitigate the adverse effects of elevated ammonia, hypoxia, and water-borne iron in aquaculture, with a particular emphasis on catfish. This work has deepened my expertise in aquatic toxicology, water quality management, and stress mitigation, all critical to sustainable fish farming practices.
