Working as a Level 3 Tactical Guard at Toronto Community Housing Corporation (TCHC) properties, I am responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, staff, and visitors. My role involves conducting regular interior and exterior patrols of residential buildings, including stairwells, parking garages, hallways, and common areas to prevent unauthorized access, trespassing, and criminal activity.I respond promptly to incidents such as disturbances, loitering, domestic disputes, and safety concerns while using conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques. I prepare detailed incident and occurrence reports, ensuring accurate documentation of all events. I also coordinate with Toronto Police, EMS, and fire services when emergency assistance is required.Additionally, I enforce property rules and regulations, monitor suspicious activity, and provide strong visible deterrence. My role requires strong observation skills, quick decision-making, professionalism, and the ability to handle high-risk situations calmly. Through proactive patrolling and community interaction, I contribute to maintaining order and ensuring a secure living environment at TCHC sites.
