ABOUT KASHIF B.
I am committed to advancing research and data-driven solutions that promote social well-being, health, and safety, with a particular focus on sexual violence as a critical population health issue. I investigate how structural inequities and institutional decision-making influence survivors’ health experiences and broader population-level outcomes. My scholarship centers sexual violence among men and gender-diverse populations, where stigma, underrecognition, and system response create distinct public health challenges. Using machine learning and computational analyses of large-scale data, alongside systematic evidence synthesis and mixed-methods inquiry, I examine how healthcare and social systems respond to individuals navigating trauma and marginalization. I aim to translate analytic insight into strategies that strengthen equity, accountability, and institutional responsiveness.I value interdisciplinary collaboration and seek opportunities to partner with scholars, practitioners, and policymakers to move rigorous evidence into meaningful action.
