About Kasey Draper

When I was asked the question,\"What do you want to be when you grow up?\", I always responded by saying that I was going to be a professional athlete. However, as I became older I realized that my dream of being a professional athlete wasn\'t going to happen. Therefore, I started looking for things I was interested in. I took a marketing class my sophomore year of high school and fell in love. I started taking at least one business class every year until I graduated. I even competed in DECA competitions and worked my way into being a DECA leader my junior and senior year. I became engrossed with businesses and the way they operated. I was now able to tell people with confidence that I plan on being a business man. Now that I am in college, I have found more passion in the business industry. I really enjoy the business classes I am currently taking, such as accounting and marketing. I am fascinated with finding solutions to problems as well as using my creative side to come up with new ideas and marketing strategies. My current goal is to soak up as much information as possible during my schooling and graduate in the year 2023. My career goal is to eventually own and operate my own business. In my free time I enjoy playing, watching, and talking sports. I currently play basketball for the Roanoke College Men\'s Varsity team. In addition, I love going outdoors and being adventurous, whether that means kayaking, hiking, or going to the lake. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends. Some of my other hobbies include sleeping, eating, and watching movies.
