About Kasey Stricklin
As a Senior Talent Scout on Uber\'s University Talent Acquisition team, I currently lead efforts to fill tech internships and full-time new grad roles for PhD Software Engineering and our relaunched Associate Product Manager (APM) Program. I’ve also recruited extensively for science roles, general software engineering (undergrad through PhD), and actuarial positions. With a wealth of experience in shaping recruiting strategies and establishing on-campus connections, I have a strong knack for identifying top early talent, cultivating university partnerships, and achieving outstanding results in the highly competitive landscape of tech recruiting. My professional journey also encompasses 3.5 years at CNA Corporation, where I led campus recruiting efforts and spearheaded initiatives to foster diversity and inclusion. Prior to that, I served as the Texas Admissions Recruiting Specialist for the University of Oklahoma College of Law, where I built and managed the recruiting program in Texas, leading to a significant increase in the incoming class size from the state. In addition to my recruiting expertise, I hold a Master’s degree in International Policy and Practice from George Washington University, a J.D. from the University of Oklahoma (with membership in the Oklahoma Law Review), and a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Texas.
