My duties as an Account Manager for ArcBest include cold-calling on a daily basis, developing and retaining relationships, educating accounts on the different services Arcbest offers, all while negotiating a competitive price. During recurring meetings, I learn how my accounts operate and what needs they may have logistically. My job then is to present the services that fits their company best and have them transition their business to ArcBest. My goal is to gain my accounts trust so they are willing to make a change.I have grown two territories throughout my years with ArcBest (Scranton PA and Hagerstown MD) with a successful track record. I have documentation showing my success throughout the years. In 2015, my service center won a contest for the highest revenue growth in our region.
