Final-semester Master’s student in Data Science at Michigan Technological University, completing a research-focused capstone in AI-driven disease surveillance and early outbreak detection. My academic focus includes Emerging Technologies, Predictive Modeling, and Big Data Analytics, supported by strong foundations in mathematics, data analysis, and programming with Python and R.As part of my final research course, I am working on a Disease Surveillance and Early Detection System that leverages longitudinal patient records across a 14-hospital consortium to identify anomalous clinical patterns indicative of emerging outbreaks. The project applies time-series analysis, anomaly detection, and supervised ML models to enable earlier warnings while reducing false positives and alert fatigue.In parallel, I serve as a Graduate Research Assistant in MTU’s Biomedical Data Science (BDS) Lab, where I build FHIR/HL7 ETL pipelines, develop Next.js + React dashboards, and deploy Node.js/Express APIs for real-time clinical monitoring and decision support.Previously, I developed AI-based multimodal systems using CNNs, RNNs, and explainable AI for healthcare diagnostics, along with applied predictive analytics projects in finance and sustainability.Actively seeking full-time data science and applied ML roles.
