The mission of the BEA is to foster a partnership between business and education and to assist students to prepare for the world of work.RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE- Conduct ongoing career development needs assessments involving both school districts and business/industry members- Coordinate student job shadows and site tours with Genesee County businesses- Recruit business/industry members to participate in school programs and orient mentors as to materials to be presented (Junior Achievement, etc.)- Present a variety of programs designed to meet the workforce development needs of Genesee County- Coordinate & promote summer career camps (Camp Hard Hat, All About Dogs Camp, Culinary Camp, WNY Aviation Camp, MST Camp, Vet Camp, Medical Camp).
