Coordinate policies and procedures such as COBRA, FMLA, short- and long-term disability insurance, medical, dental, and life insurance Manage benefits team which consists of two direct reports Develop and execute annual communication strategy for creating benefits awareness Manage open enrollment processes including developing communication for employees and conducting employee presentations Monitor industry trends to ensure overall competitiveness Work with consultant to review all plan documents and summary plan descriptions Manage the annual 5500 filing process, Summary Annual Reports, non-discrimination testing, Form 1095-C’s and other compliance reporting Ensure benefit plans are consistently administered in compliance with company policies and government regulations such as HIPAA, ERISA, IRS, and DOL Coordinate and implement wellbeing program and employee rewards & recognition program
