Karyn has extensive experience facilitating grief support groups and professional trainings. Karyn was an adjunct professor at Florida Atlantic University where she taught Grief and Bereavement counseling, Issues in Counseling Women, and Issues in Mental Health Counseling on a graduate and undergraduate level. Karyn is currently on the board of Professionals United for Parkland (PU4P) offering support and education for the community following the Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School shooting. Karyn is a published contributing author in Understanding the Journey: A Lifespan Approach to Working with Grieving People (2019).
