Collaboratively work with leadership to execute event activities and strategy that help attain the goals and objectives of Gordon Food Service, a $20+B B2B and B2C distributor and retailer of foodservice products and services- Plan and execute 20 North American trade shows per year with 400+ exhibitors- Solely responsible for contract negotiation for all 20 event venues and 50+ hotel blocks and contracts per year- Manage the planning and budgeting for food and beverage, audio visual, electrical, plumbing and other on-site exclusive services for our shows- Work with marketing and outside vendors to identify and order necessary materials for advertising leading up to and during the events- Main point of contact for the venue\'s event managers to plan and execute US shows- Directing efficient arrangement of facilities for maximum sales and revenue- Lead, mentor and train junior level event producers ensuring they have a path of growth not only on our national events team but within Gordon Food Service as a whole- Collaborate with internal departments ex: customer service, warehouse, IT and transportation to ensure logistics are in place for a seamless execution
