ABOUT KARYN NORRIS
I began my career with Navy Federal in May of 2006 as a MSR in the Transactions Branch. I quickly moved through Transactions II, Credit Applications, Equity Applications, Loan Servicing, and Collateral by 2007. While in the Credit & Lending Branch, I was selected to answer assist line calls and be a part of the Above and Beyond pilot. Because of the skills and knowledge I gained, I was promoted to the Quality Service Branch in 2009 where I provided coaching and guidance to MSRs and was a member of the original pilot for Quality and Training Partnership (QTP). I furthered my knowledge by earning my Management Certificate and Financial Institutions Certificate through UWF. I am currently seeking my Human Resource Management Certificate with the University of West Florida, which I will earn in May 2015. With the knowledge I gained while at NFCU coupled with previous leadership experience, I was promoted to Supervisor of Quality Service in 2011. I am dedicated to coaching to the Member Experience and developing team members to excel in their careers at Navy Federal. Because of my passion for developing team members, I was recently promoted to Manager in the Account Services Branch. I am extremely excited about this new opportunity. In my spare time I enjoy shopping, traveling, spending time with my family, and hugging my boys, Eli and Kam.
