About Kartik Ganesh

After a decade of delivering delightful customer-facing products and services, I\'ve shifted gears to work on managed services at AWS, with a focus on open-source software. Previously, my in-depth expertise across the eCommerce pipeline (from purchasing through fulfillment) enabled me to launch brand-new initiatives such as Amazon Prints and Amazon Explore, and build foundational features in Amazon\'s Shopping Cart, Checkout and Fulfillment backend services. I\'ve made contributions to several business-critical open-source projects including OpenSearch, Lucene and Apache ActiveMQ.I have a proven ability to cope with ambiguity and often step out of my comfort zone to do whatever it takes to drive deliverables. I enjoy tackling large challenges and the learning opportunities this affords.I currently work on AWS Amazon MQ and the two open-source engines it supports - Apache ActiveMQ Classic and RabbitMQ.
