He is adept at dealing with ambiguity, collaborative problem solving, guiding high-performing teams, working with global Boards and implementing strategic initiatives to drive business success.At Alvarez & Marsal India, Kartik has led transformational programs for global brands, unlocking millions in EBITDA improvements and operational savings. He has delivered engagements across retail companies across apparel brands, department stores, pharmacy chain and fitness chain. Other services sector exposure includes e-commerce, consumer, ship management, waste management. Kartik has also facilitated seamless transitions during M&A situations, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations and integrating teams effectively. Kartik has been actively contributing to business development over past few years and has built strong relationships with private equity clients, corporate heads and industry partners for collaboration. He has been part of A&M India’s 10x growth journey and essayed several roles apart from delivery including recruitment, training, staffing and CSR.Prior to A&M, Kartik was part of the TAS program, an early-career leadership program of Tata Group years with Tata\'s are split across two major stints.1. As part of the Business Development team at Indian Hotels Company (Taj Group of Hotels); Kartik has helped source, negotiate and close several new hotel deals under the management contract model. He also spearheaded cross-functional team efforts to decide capital allocation for renovations at IHCL owned properties including concept development, budgeting, Board approvals and execution support. As part of the MD\'s office at Tata Teleservices, Kartik worked closely with Executive committee members to drive strategic projects. Collaborated with functional teams to evaluate new business cases, build key stakeholder presentations and conduct business analysis to aid CXO decision making. An IIM Bangalore alumnus and passionate problem solver, Kartik is an avid proponent of leveraging analytics and technology to deliver sustainable growth. Beyond work, he is an advocate for mentorship, community building, and long-distance running.
