Kartik Sundar Raj currently serves as a Partner with the Deal Advisory & Strategy practice at KPMG. He has experience with more than 700 transactions in supporting financial and strategic buyers through business, operations, and financial due diligence. Kartik has worked on transactions with sizes ranging from $1.5 million to $10 billion. Kartik has overseen due diligences on over $25 billion private equity and corporate investments and buyouts. Whilst at RSM, Kartik was on the executive leadership team of the National Transaction Advisory Services practice. Some of his notable accomplishments were:1) Pacific Northwest Transaction Advisory Leader - Led and grew the Practice from humble origins to a sizeable 50 person team over a seven year span.2) Value Creation Due Diligence National Leader - Concieved and instituted the Value Creation practice to execute on complex and large carve-outs, mergers, synergies, and cost take-outs & savings. The practice was started and grown to a 25 person team all amidst the COVID cycle. 3) Led some of the Firm\'s largest client relationships with cross-functional teams from audit, tax, and advisory practices. 4) In the upper echelon of partners at the Firm for managed revenue and revenue sold to others.5) Other leadership positions held included serving as the Transaction Advisory Services West Region leader, being on the steering committee for policy and risk management for due diligences, and the National Technology industry leader for Transaction Advisory Services.Prior to his transaction advisory experience, Kartik was part of the initial management team at FirstRing, which pioneered the BPO revolution in India. He was closely associated with raising capital for this start-up, set up of domestic and overseas accounting offices, and deployment of operational and financial management information systems. FirstRing was acquired in 2003 by FirstSource Solutions Limited (ticker - FSL : NSE), a large India based global conglomerate.
