ABOUT KARTHIK IYER
I\'m a Software Developer at Viridien with a Master\'s degree in Computer Science from Texas A&M University and was a Software Engineering Intern at Zscaler in Summer 2024.Before Texas A&M, I was a Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase & Co, where I developed and deployed scalable and secure web applications and microservices, using Java, Spring Boot, Cassandra and Apache Kafka. I was part of the Liquidity division of Payments Technology within Corporate and Investment Banking. I also participated in two Google Summer of Code programs, with the Academy Software Foundation and TensorFlow, where I contributed to OpenTimelineIO and SwiftPlot. I have a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, where I honed my analytical and problem-solving skills. I have also done well at hackathons and competitions, such as InOut, Hack in the North, and KVPY.
