ABOUT KARTHIKEYAN KANDASAMY
I am a supply chain and production planning professional with experience in improving operational performance within high-volume manufacturing environments. In my recent role, I worked closely with cross-functional teams to manage production planning, inventory control, and resource utilisation. My focus has always been on identifying inefficiencies and implementing practical solutions that deliver measurable results. For example, I successfully reduced aged inventory by over ₹5 Cr within a year and improved inventory accuracy while supporting continuous production flow. I approach problems with a combination of data analysis and operational understanding. Using tools such as Power BI, Excel VBA, and Oracle Cloud ERP, I translate data into actionable insights that support better planning decisions and improve overall supply chain performance. Alongside my professional experience, I am currently pursuing an MSc in Supply Chain and Procurement Management at the University of Strathclyde. This is helping me deepen my understanding of supply chain analytics, process optimisation, and strategic decision-making.
