About Karthikeyan Shanmugam

With over 15 years of experience in software engineering and testing, I am a staff engineer at VMware, where I lead software-defined data center stack releases and work on triaging and debugging issues along with testing the performance, scalability, and reliability of cloud infrastructure products. I use Python, Test Automation, and Unix to design, develop, and execute test cases, scripts, and frameworks, and to identify and resolve issues. Previously, I was an SDET manager at Cruise Automation, where I led a team of software engineers in test to ensure the quality and safety of autonomous vehicle software. I also contributed to the development and improvement of test automation tools and processes. I am passionate about delivering high-quality software solutions that meet the needs and expectations of customers and stakeholders. I enjoy collaborating with engineers, product managers, and other cross-functional teams to solve complex problems and deliver innovative products. I am always eager to learn new technologies and best practices and to share my knowledge and experience with others. I am looking for opportunities to work on challenging and impactful projects that leverage my skills and expertise in cloud infrastructure testing.
