I stream-line Data for more effective problem solving.Data drives every decision of mine – at Duquesne Light, I am laying the foundation for Data Quality and Data Governance to drive data-driven analytics and decision making. At home, I currently look at data to plan day hikes in the region (Hello Pandemic!) and I document my hikes on a Tableau dashboard. Further, I enjoy collaborating with the key stakeholders and convincing them to buy-into the decision. I currently spend several hours trying to learn the various pieces of Data and forge strong working-relationship with my colleagues to drive a collaborative, cross-functional approach in managing Data here. Finally, I get back to the table to introspect the solution with my manager and team. This process has helped me in understanding my strengths and has prompted the transition from academic research to corporate sector, and from mechanical design engineer to a BI analyst to a Data Strategist.During this journey, I have learned the following:+ Statistical Computing and Data Analysis: Microsoft SQL Server, R, Python, MATLAB.+ Productivity tools: Tableau, Power BI, MS Office Suite.+ Programming Languages: C++, C.+ Product Design and Analysis: AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks, and ANSYS.
