I hold a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Energy Engineering (Solar) and bring demonstrated experience in the Solar Industry. With a strong foundation in renewable energy systems, I have developed expertise in designing, analyzing, and managing solar projects from concept to completion, focusing on both residential and commercial/industrial (C&I) sectors.I started my career as a Solar PV Designer at a residential solar company, where I developed proficiency in using Aurora Solar and Helioscope for efficient system designs. In this role, I ensured compliance with building and fire codes, interacted with customers to incorporate their design preferences, and prepared permit-ready plans. I also handled tasks such as determining interconnection strategies, assessing AHJ requirements, and finalizing Bill of Materials (BOMs).Currently, I work as a Solar Engineer at a leading C&I/Utility Scale solar EPC firm, specializing in the pre-NTP phase for C&I rooftops and carports. My role involves power production analyses, cost estimation, and the development of engineering standards, templates, and workflows. I am responsible for designing solar energy systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring state-specific incentive compliance, and conducting due diligence to assess project feasibility and risks. I also have experience using PVSyst for production simulation and excel at EPC build cost estimation, including BOS cost estimates, equipment sizing ensuring NEC compliance.Along with a strong technical and project management foundation, I am committed to delivering high-quality, cost-effective solar solutions that promote sustainability and energy efficiency.
