I am a Cybersecurity professional in the making, currently pursuing an MSc in Cybersecurity at Newcastle University. My journey is defined by a transition from the high-stakes, high-pressure world of heavy industry to the frontlines of digital resilience.With a foundation in Metallurgical Engineering from IIT Bhubaneswar, I spent my early career at JSPL leading industrial shifts and managing Lean Six Sigma projects. This experience taught me the \"human side\" of risk, how processes, people, and safety intersect. Today, I am applying that same discipline and analytical rigor to secure the digital world.Current Focus & Research: I am deeply invested in the intersection of AI, Machine Learning, and Security. My recent work includes:1. Acoustic Adversary: Investigating the robustness of audio classification models by implementing FGSM and PGD adversarial attacks.2. Linux Host-based Anomaly Detection: Developing unsupervised Machine Learning models to analyze system calls and detect malicious behavior at the host level.Continuous Learning: Beyond my academic curriculum, I am a dedicated practitioner on TryHackMe, consistently completing learning paths to sharpen my hands-on offensive and defensive skills. I believe that in security, you are either learning or falling behind.The Vision: I am not just looking to enter the field; I am looking to rise within it. I aim to blend my engineering background with advanced computational tools to solve complex security challenges.
