ABOUT KARTHIK BALASUBRAMANIAN
My professional journey in the automotive sector commenced during my formative years, evolving into a dedicated aspiration to contribute to the industry. This led to the attainment of a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering. Practical experience was subsequently gained through internships at BMW and Magna Automotive, focusing on manufacturing processes and quality management. These engagements cultivated my expertise in lean management principles, 5S methodologies, capability studies, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), process optimization, AIAG core tools, problem-solving techniques, and Kaizen initiatives. This experience solidified my commitment to manufacturing, prompting further academic pursuits at the University of Warwick, where I was awarded a WMG Excellence scholarship and graduated with a merit. Currently, I am employed at Multimatic as a Senior Quality Engineer, where my responsibilities include customer relations, new program management, process improvement, and project management for Quality deliverables.
