Building OneLake - Datalake as a Service offering for Microsoft Fabric - Storage Infrastructure team. Reduced load and saved operational expense [n/w bandwidth, compute, memory utilization] through redirection of 15.5 million PUT/PATCH calls every day for OneLakeService. Improved performance of several Azure data products (partners) within Fabric like SQL DW, Spark, Data Factory etc by ensuring that OLC adheres to the promised <10% overhead over ADLS through the redirection of Create DFS and BLOB scenarios. Achieved 80% decrease in latency overhead under load [10% before to 50%] and 80% reduction in memory consumption [24GB -> 4.6GB] on SQL DMS node by identifying the root cause - multiple duplicated in-flight GPI/GSI calls and coding out the fix. Achieved a 75% reduction in integration tests execution time by reducing the runtime from ~180 minutes to ~45 minutes.
