My current role is automation engineer in the banking domain, currently working for TD Canada Bank, one of the largest and most respected financial institutions in Canada. My role involves designing, developing and executing automated test scripts for the Salesforce CRM application, which is used by the bank to manage customer relationships and provide personalized services.I use Java as the programming language and Selenium as the automation tool to create robust and reusable test cases that cover various scenarios and functionalities of the CRM application. I follow the BDD Cucumber framework, which allows me to write test scripts in a natural language that can be understood by both technical and non-technical stakeholders. This helps to ensure that the test scripts are aligned with the business requirements and expectations.I also use tools such as Intelli J, Jenkins and JIRA to enhance my automation process and workflow. Intelli J is an integrated development environment that provides me with features such as code completion, debugging, refactoring and testing. Jenkins is a continuous integration tool that enables me to run my test scripts automatically and generate reports on the test results. JIRA is a project management tool that helps me to track and manage the defects, issues and tasks related to the CRM application.I enjoy working in a dynamic and collaborative environment where I can apply my skills and learn new technologies. I am always eager to explore new challenges and opportunities that can help me grow as an automation engineer and contribute to the success of the bank. I am also passionate about sharing my knowledge and experience with others and learning from them. I believe that automation is not only a technical skill but also an art that requires creativity, innovation and problem-solving.
