About Karsyn Ivey
During my time at BorgWarner, I was the direct report for all of the students and interns enrolled through the Cooperative Education Program. Being a Clemson graduate myself, I was honored to be able to work closely with my alma mater. Throughout their time with the company, I strived to set them up for success to ensure a smooth transition into the workforce post-graduation. This experience highlighted the need for intentional mentorship and opportunities for students to gain experience in their preferred field. My job was to evaluate and match the students with one of the mentors, as they would work closely and learn through hands on experiences in real time. I am passionate about providing new learning experiences for college students since they are the new generation joining our workforce, therefore having a hand in the future of those students was incredibly rewarding. I made it my goal to try and integrate their talents into our community so we can ensure continual growth and success.
