I am particularly interested in the interaction between people and technology, I like to build teams as well as complex software systems. It is particularly important to me that an efficient product is created for the customer.For the last 3 years, I have been working as a director with several teams (developers, QA, DevOps, architects) at mobilezone GmbH (formerly powwow), rebuilding the shop systems for sparhandy.de, deinhandy.de and high-mobile.de onto a new eCommerce platform with Spryker CommerceOS as the backend, a TS/JS/React frontend and connected SaaS services (e.g. contentfull, akeneo) and migrating the existing shops. The new platform runs in the cloud (including Sys11, AWS, Kubernetes, RDS, S3) with extensive test coverage. A big part of my job is selecting and hiring new team members and leading/mentoring multiple heads and architects. The teams have largely been home office since Corona, which mostly works well due to the agile work processes and tools.In the meantime, I led the IT Infrastructure and Cloud division at mobilezone/powwow on an interim basis.Prior to that I worked for many years at Digital River in various roles - software developer, manager, director - working on various international eCommerce platforms in technical roles - e.g. payment integrations, backend order processing, SOX and PCI level 1 audits, platform move from data centre to AWS, reporting services with large Oracle data sets. At Digital River as an international company, I have mostly worked with internationally distributed teams in different cultures - USA, Ireland, Germany, India, Taiwan - company language English. Apart from difficulties with different time zones, I enjoyed the international working environment.I also have extensive experience with IT outsourcing at Digital River, both in Ukraine and India-Mich reizt besonders das Zusammenspiel von Mensch und Technik, ich baue sowohl gerne Teams auf als auch komplexe Software Systeme. Dabei ist mit besonders wichtig, das für den Kunden ein gut funktionierendes Produkt entsteht, das schnell und sicher funktioniert.Die letzten 3 Jahre habe ich bei der mobilezone GmbH als Director mit mehreren Teams (Entwickler, QA, DevOps, Architekten) die Shopsysteme für für sparhandy.de, deinhandy.de und high-mobile.de auf eine neue eCommerce Platform mit Spryker CommerceOS als Backend, einem TS/React Frontend sowie angebundenen SaaS Services neu aufgebaut und die Bestandshops migriert. Die neue Plattform läuft in der Cloud (AWS, Kubernetes, RDS, S3)
