About Karsten Beckmann
Dr. Karsten Beckmann received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from the Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany, in 2013, and a Ph.D. degree in Nanoscale Engineering from the College of Nanotechnology, Science, and Engineering at the University at Albany. He is currently a Staff Engineer in Process Integration at NY CREATES and an Adjunct Professor at the University at Albany with over 10 years of experience in the 300mm semiconductor ecosystem. Dr. Beckmann is leading comprehensive memory technology development projects from conceptual fundamental research to 300mm integrated solutions resulting in over 40 authored and co-authored publications, 19 conference presentations (3 invited), and 6 patents (awarded and pending).
