Adherence of policies is strictly enforced through Service Level Agreements (SLA) to ensure the servers in the data suites are consistently running without issues to minimize downtime and maintain positive customer satisfaction- Responsible for servicing customer work orders in a timely and efficient manner by problem solving and determining solutions. Customer work orders often include but are not limited to troubleshooting, analyzing and diagnosing issues relating to IT equipment. Updating work orders as work is being completed. Finally making any necessary modifications as requested- Perform daily facilities inspections by completing a 700+ line item excel spreadsheet to ensure the day-to-day operations of the data center HVAC, electrical, mechanical systems are operating as intended. Ensure physical security measures are intact and restricted areas are secured- Monitor the Building Management System (BMS) and report data center service availability as well as performance capacity utilization information to engineers and/or management- Escalate critical information that can negatively impact customers to Network Operation Centers (NOC) and Global Command Centers (GCC) across the globe to keep our customers infrastructure running safely and securely- Maintaining overall data center cleanliness and appearance; other tasks as required such as monthly fire extinguisher inspections or seasonal pressure washing of parking lot- Work with on site and remote teams from different departments to put ideas into action to maintain standards and remain globally competitive in this dynamic industry as to best assist our customers changing needs.
