ABOUT KAROLÍNA POLIAKOVÁ
I\'m passionate about translating science into human language as a Head of Communications in the Artificial Intelligence Center at FEE CTU. My long-term goal is to convince our researchers that it makes sense to promote their activities and popularize science! In 2021, I\'ve joined a Ph.D. program at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University where I\'m engaged in research into social discourse focused on the communication of science, especially the relationship between science and art. On top of that, I\'ve been cooperating with the Mezipatra Queer Film Festival for almost ten years. I take care of the promotion of the festival and its activities throughout the year, set the communication strategy, develop relations with the media and prepare the festival catalog. I care deeply about the rights of the LGBTQ + community, gender equality in the workplace and other human rights issues manifested primarily through media discourse.
