About Karolina Eklöw
Karolina works in the intersection of science, policy and technology. Following stints in New York and China, she has advised public, private and multilateral actors. After years in the European tech startup scene, Karolina works for the Foresight Institute as their Chief Operating Officer in San Francisco/Berlin and is associated to the Centre for Future Generations in Brussels. She is part of the Advisory Group of the Global Shapers Community - founded by the World Economic Forum - supporting a network of young members. Appointed to be one of the twenty members of the Advisory Group of the Global Shapers Community (World Economic Forum), who support the global network of youth volunteers in 150 countries. In the Nordic-Baltic region, I help the elected leaders build their organizations – in Stockholm, Helsinki, Oslo, Malmö, Riga, Tallinn and Copenhagen. This role is called Community Champion.
