I am taking care of Digital and Data Science initiatives for India in Crop Protection R&D at Syngenta. With over 24 years of experience in the Agriculture and pharmaceutical industries, my expertise spans data science, data analytics, digital transformation, digital product management, Machine learning, AI, gene expression technology, and related fields.My responsibilities include leading the Data Science, Data Analytics, Digital Agronomy, and NPI excellence teams. These teams contain data scientists, data analysts, software engineers, digital agronomists, product managers, and respective leads. I am instrumental in driving strategies for data capture, data management, and data analysis, implementation of ML/AI, digital content creation and in developing and implementing new methodologies and applications.I am well-versed in agile product management and scrum methodologies, holding PSPO 1 and 2 certifications. Additionally, I have led product squads consisting of data scientists, data engineers, data analysts, data stewards, product managers, senior functional analysts, product owners, statisticians, bioinformaticians, and scientists, and I provide coaching and mentorship to ensure high performance and efficiency.My educational background includes a PhD in Cellular Biochemistry from Max-Planck Institute for Biochemistry, Munich, Germany, and an Executive MBA from Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research (WeSchool), Mumbai, India.I take pleasure in presenting and advocating my work and ideas at prestigious conferences, ultimately enhancing the organization\'s reputation and visibility.
