About Karly Forker
I am currently a fourth-year PhD student in Pei Zhou\'s lab in the biochemistry department at Duke University. My project aims at establishing a structural understanding of a key pathway in DNA damage tolerance. I plan to use cryo-EM to uncover the molecular basis of protein complex formation involved in translesion DNA synthesis. I plan to pursue a career in academic research after I complete my degree.
