I have worked in a mechanical design/machining environment through high-school into college. Have completed a BS degree in Engineering, concentrating in Mechanical Engineering. I have a lot of experience reading drawings and getting to understand how something works. I bring a desire to do things with good engineering practice and get it done right the first time. I am also very interested in control systems. Programming is a skill that I enjoy learning more about. Competent in C++, Basic, Matlab, Maple, Pro/E, HTML, PHP.My supervisors would say I have an in-depth manufacturing background with engineering experience and training that has a proven track record for satisfying customer requirements. Expertise includes: • Designing and detailing components and equipment using Creo Parametric, Solidworks, and AutoCAD• Modeling sheet metal components and weldments for manufacture in Creo Parametric and Solidworks• Analyzing modeled systems using Pro/Mechanica and ANSYS• Leveraging Microsoft Office tools for project management and documentation• Simulating robots and their controls in MATLABSpecialties: Computer programming, interpreting engineering drawings, fabrication
