About Karl Swensen

If you need assistance in conducting a successful and effective job search, I can help! With many years of career coaching, executive HR experience and an MBA, I assist clients in understanding how to efficiently find their next career opportunity. I am an Executive Cheerleader - a Career Coach with substantial counseling experience. I have coached thousands of job seekers and helped them successfully achieve their career goals. I love what I do and I really enjoy advising those who are in-between jobs. There are many ways a company says they don’t want you anymore. When that happens, you get to find a new job. Reminding and teaching clients how to search and find a new job is my specialty. My satisfaction comes in providing the latest job searching methods and techniques as well as in giving hope and encouragement to clients. I love my clients! Extensive Experience: As a Career Coach, I\'ve served thousands of clients by providing them with expertise and the latest trends in marketing themselves. The Internet and networking are very important tools. In HR, I\'ve hired more than new employees, interviewed thousands of other candidates and reviewed at least a gazillion resumes. I know how the hiring process works. As a result of my coaching, most of my clients find jobs faster and many of them have said their new job is better than the one they had. I call that success. One of my hobbies is Family History. I love genealogy. Genealogists live life in the past lane. I\'m certain my ancestors must be in a Witness Protection Plan. Only a genealogist regards a step backwards as progress. Specialties: Career coaching, using Internet and social media, navigating hidden job markets, interviewing, negotiating, marketing, networking, researching, utilizing many job searching methods, matching skills to job requirements, managing career transitions, writing and improving resumes, and evaluating offers.
