Please see my profile picture. This is my reason, my passion the fire in my belly for my career choice and who i want to go home to see at the end of each working day. I have experienced a work place accident and as a son seeing his father injured with the pain and suffering that ensued, I vowed to improve working conditions and create a safer working environment for all employees. I have a passion for Environment, Health, Safety and Quality ensuring that excellent standards are achieved within the company that I work.In June 1998 I entered into the Health and Safety field starting out as a Union Safety Representative and undertaking substantial Health and Safety training from the TUC and CWU. This grounding as a union representative helped me to become a peoples person, being able to engage both shop floor and management at all levels.Since then I have completed my NEBOSH diploma, Fire certificate, General Certificate and IEMA foundation certificate all whilst building my young family (my partners two pregnancies and births) and holding down a multiple site position.My diversity and ability to gain \"buy in\" on Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental grounds from people at all levels helps me to achieve the high standards that I set both personally and for the company in which I work.I am a well rounded and driven professional who takes pride in the development of working relationships with peers, customers and colleagues, I have extensive knowledge of operational processes, risk assessments and methodology, health, safety and environmental programs with in-depth knowledge of regulations and how they are practically applied within the workplace.
