About Karli Bossert

Karli earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration at Illinois Wesleyan University and a Master of Professional Studies in Real Estate at Georgetown University. Karli aspires to better understand the crossover between financial markets, property management, and business within commercial real estate.Currently, Karli works as a Senior Consultant at JLL.Previously, Karli worked as a Financial Analyst at Lat Purser & Associates. She analyzed historical property income, operating statements, budgets, leases, loan agreements, expenses and market conditions to determine financial underwriting assumptions for financings and refinances. She communicated with lenders to provide the necessary financial documentation of the properties per loan agreements.Karli worked as a Treasury Associate at Finance of America Commercial. She funded and managed existing warehouse loan populations for optimal leverage efficiency. Cash and leverage actuals and forecasting were provided on a daily basis for various company products. Over the course of a few years, Karli worked as an Ops Analyst MKTS in the Collateral Operations group at Bank of America. She helped mitigate risk and collateral through the bank\'s relationship with the Options Clearing Corporation. Karli supported multiple products and functions within OTC swaps forwards, and other derivatives.During her senior year of undergraduate, Karli enjoyed an internship in the Advice Center at Country Financial. She collaborated with other departments as she headed a project that entailed her to analyze all of the technological communications used within the Advice Center. Karli also earned the Accredited Asset Management Specialist financial designation during that time.During the spring of 2016, Karli studied abroad in Dublin, Ireland where she interned with Restored Hearing. Karli was able to gain insight into the inner workings of a start-up company that prepared to launch its products globally. Her experiences at Restored Hearing allowed her to better understand how to analyze data after gathering research on investors, how all the components of a business affect one another, and how to communicate with others from different cultures within the workplace.Karli lives in Charlotte, North Carolina. She has a passion for traveling and enjoys spending her time with her family. Coming from a family of entrepreneurs, Karli has been taught the value of having a strong work ethic, the necessity of effective communication, and the importance of continual learning and education.
