As the Air Force Reserve senior logistician, he is a principal advisor to the Director on all aspects of logistics planning in support of Homeland Defense and Defense Support of Civil Authorities including humanitarian and disaster requirements. His responsibilities include the development and synchronization of logistics plans, policy, and procedures for both deliberate planning and crisis action planning concerning NORAD and USNORTHCOM (N-NC) CONPLANS and supports plans with a focus on National Guard (NG) logistics support capabilities. He systematically reviews and analyzes logistics sustainment issues for inclusion in both commands’ Integrated Priority List (IPL). During capability assessment boards, he represents the N-NC/J4 interests, additionally managing the N-NC/J4 budget and Defense Travel System Programs- Facilitated critical logistics support airlift during Hurricanes Sandy, Harvey, Florence; synchronized NGB, FEMA, & DLA resources- Addressed major federal facility gap and drafted Support Agreement fix with Oregon NG and USNORTHCOM - Coordinated N-NC logistics efforts supporting Washington state mudslides with federal, state, and local agencies - He is “the voice” of NORAD Tracks Santa website; travels with the USAF Academy Band as an N-NC ambassador
