I\'m excited to share that I\'ve joined the Office of Cultural Development (CODOFIL) in Lafayette, LA, as part of their dynamic team. In this full-time role, I’ll be working closely with the Office of the Lieutenant Governor and the Department of Culture, Recreation, and Tourism communications teams to amplify the mission of CODOFIL and raise awareness about the Louisiana French language movement.Key responsibilities include:>Developing and executing public programs and strategic media campaigns to promote the French language and culture.>Handling external communications, including news releases, PSAs, media advisories, and website updates.>Serving as CODOFIL’s social media manager, ensuring consistent engagement across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, X, and YouTube.>Building strong media relationships and providing bilingual content for our online newsletter.>Supporting program management, including coordinating special projects and ensuring they meet deadlines and budgets.>Assisting with the organization of international agreements and general office administration.This position requires fluency in both French and English, as I will be liaising with diverse Francophone and Creole communities while also working with international agencies. I look forward to contributing to the growth of the Louisiana French language and culture, while enhancing CODOFIL’s visibility both locally and internationally.
