ABOUT KARL SVEINSSON
As an urban designer, master planner and landscape architect, I have over 20 years of experience in urban design and planning, focusing on conceptual master planning, site design and entitlements. My experience includes a broad range of project types and scales, including new community and resort design, urban infill, redevelopment and corporate campus design. I excel when projects are complex, interdisciplinary and fast-paced, relying on my broad experience and collaborative leadership style to guide projects through to completion. Throughout my career, I have led teams that have successfully entitled new communities, mixed use developments, infill projects and resorts throughout the United States and internationally. I approach each project collaboratively, seeking to understand client, community and team goals before putting pen to paper to understand the setting, local regulatory environment, history, economic forces and social influences.
