With over 20 years of progressive engineering management and leadership experience from my foundational training as a Royal Air Force Engineer to my current senior leadership role. I have consistently demonstrated the competencies required to lead complex technical organisations and high-value estates.​As the Operations Manager (FM Operations) for Oxfordshire County Council (OCC), I hold senior strategic responsibility for the engineering management, safety, and operational performance of a vast public and corporate portfolio.My remit has expanded to a Total Facilities Management (TFM) framework, where I direct integrated service delivery across Hard FM, Soft FM, Cleaning, and FM Service Desk operations. I focus on aligning technical infrastructure with service-led operational excellence to ensure a resilient and high-performing estate.​My career is defined by a journey of increasing management accountability, culminating in a role where I lead:​Strategic Engineering Direction: Engineering the systems, processes, and strategies that ensure long-term asset integrity and organisational value.​Multi-Disciplinary Leadership: Overseeing diverse service lines to bridge the gap between technical engineering resilience and professional soft service delivery.​Financial & Risk Stewardship: Direct responsibility for multi-million-pound budget management and the mitigation of complex institutional risks.​Operational Cultural Change: Proactively leading transformation in health and safety culture and service performance standards across a major public body.​I am tasked not only with the oversight of existing infrastructure but with the strategic management of the entire operational ecosystem, ensuring that engineering discipline, public safety, and fiscal sustainability are integrated into the core of our service delivery.
