About Karissa Winters

I was born into a multigenerational family of entrepreneurs and creatives which allowed me to hone xskills as a multifaceted creative entrepreneur and build businesses based on her love of music, art and literature. She has written children’s books, published multiple albums/songs, created movie and TV scripts, started clothing lines, a product line, an art gallery, a publishing company and helped many entrepreneurs through consulting work. I always builds her companies to make sure they are giving back to different causes and also cause a positive impact in the world. She is also well known for being the MC to many notable events. One of her most recent endeavor was co-founding the Viva Texas Film Festival to showcase and highlight independent and Latin focused films, as well as being a platform for the Filmmakers to have a place to let their dream flourish. She is driven by her passion for helping others and brings a unique and successful approach to advising entrepreneurs and small business owners on their pathways to success and lives her dream of guiding others on their journeys as entrepreneurs. She is the Community Lead for Innovation Collective which aligns with her ability to connect and guide others to follow their passions and fulfill their dreams. The motto for Innovation Collective is believe, belong and become. This is exactly what Karissa Winters strives to do in the community. She loves giving back, especially yo her local community. Her passion shines through when she is able to help others believe in theirselves, feel a sense of belonging and to become exactly who they have aspired to be.
