About Karissa Raymond Raskin
As a backbone leader for the bridging divides field, I strive to build community and capacity among the Coalition of 500+ organizations that are working to heal the divides and build social cohesion in our communities and country. With a background working in local government to improve processes for citizen engagement and collaborative partnership building, I use skills in coalition building, leadership, project management, strategic planning, performance tracking, and impact evaluation to advance the collective impact of the bridging movement. In addition to coordinating and managing collaborative initiatives across bridge building organizations, I foster relationships with stakeholders beyond the bridging community in order to broadly mobilize practices of depolarization and civic health across all sectors of society. At both national or local levels, I believe it is through connection, compassion and collaboration that we can rise above many of the challenges that ail our society.
