About Karin Reif
As a research scientist with 20+ years drug discovery and development experience, I am passionate about guiding research and cross-functional teams to identify and characterize new drug candidates for unmet needs. As a director, independent consultant, and project team leader, I designed research plans, developed screening assay cascades, and identified biomarkers to develop novel biologics and small molecule drugs. I contributed or directly advanced >10 drug candidates to late-stage research or early development including 4 to Phase I clinical trials across multiple therapeutic areas (inflammation, asthma, and oncology). I authored or co-authored approved INDs, Investigator’s Brochures, 3 patent applications, and 42 scientific publications.
