As President of Patriquin Architects, I lead a practice shaping communities through education, housing, and civic design across Connecticut and the region.Our portfolio spans independent schools, transit-oriented mixed-use developments, adaptive reuse of historic buildings, affordable housing, and high-performance residential projects. We are drawn to work that has lasting public impact — projects that support learning, expand access to housing, and strengthen the civic fabric.Sustainability is central to our design thinking. Our own office is a historic building renovated using passive house strategies and on-site solar, with a café activating the ground floor. It reflects the standards we hold for ourselves and our clients.We combine design vision with technical rigor, guiding projects from concept through construction with a focus on durability, performance, and responsible growth.I welcome conversations with school leaders, municipalities, developers, and mission-driven organizations seeking architecture that delivers long-term value to their communities.

Patriquin Architects is a growing commercial, non-profit and residential practice based in New Haven, specializing in community-based projects. Recent projects include multi-family housing, early childhood education centers, restaurants, commercial spaces and custom homes.As founding principal of the firm, I oversee the design, project management and construction administration of each project with our office staff.Our approach is one of collaboration - with our clients, with our consulting engineers and with the construction teams. We are well-versed in bringing projects through all levels of town, city and governmental approvals.The results of our collaborations are spaces and buildings that are well-loved by our clients and by our communities.
